Our Jill breathed her last at 12:45 PM Wednesday February 11, 2015. Her thirteen years of life were too short and too fast despite the fullness of those years. No matter how long her life, it wouldn’t have been enough.
Jill came to us as an incredibly cute orange and white freckle faced pup. Energy, love and mischief were the chief attributes of the perpetual motion ball of fur. She was also very precocious taking to training, first as a gun dog and later as a therapy dog, without losing the puppy joy for life.
Jill loved people and she loved her work, whether in the field with a group of hunters, or in a facility being a gentle and loving presence for those whose world is sadly lacking in love.
Thank you Jill from all who were blessed to have shared your life, we will miss you terribly.
