Celebration of Life
"Dogs leave their pawprints across our hearts, and we are forever changed."
With sadness, we say goodbye to Barb Noll's dog
"Today our 10 year old Chocolate Lab Mocha crossed over Rainbow Bridge. My heart is crushed but I know someday I will see her again. Thank you beautiful girl for giving me 10 years of unconditional love. Dad, Mom, Murphy, Hunter, Lily and Palynn miss you dearly. You no longer have any pain my dear beautiful girl."

Manchester/Mount Wolf Halloween Parade
The KPETS teams walking in the Manchester/Mount Wolf Halloween Parade dressed their furry kids in Wizard of Oz characters costumes.
Amy Henry's Hannah was Scarecrow, Rose Morley's Katieann was Cowardly Lion, Cheyenne's Jetty was Dorothy, and Nalu was the Wicked Witch. Janelle Senft's Buoy was Wizard and Harriet Hombach's Corky was Tin Man. A special thank you to Amy's mother, Diane Imler, who carried the banner for most of the 2 miles by herself.
To quote The York Dispatch, " A clear crowd favorite was Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services' Wizard of Oz theme." Apparently the judges also liked our furry kids . They gave us FIRST place in our division! We would like to thank the Susquehanna Lions Club for the $75 check for the first place prize plus a $75 donation.

Hummelstown Halloween Parade
Barbara Lambert reports that the Hummelstown Halloween Parade went well! There were six therapy teams (two of which had two dogs each) who marched for more that 1.6 miles in 2.5 hours. They all got quite the workout and were greatly appreciated by one and all.

Hanover Halloween
From Wendi Mitzel
It was a beautiful evening for a parade in Hanover where KPETS teams Tina and Abigail, James and Arthur, Christina and Bella, Rhonda with Angel and Gabriel, and Wendi with Meeko all walked with Clearview Animal Hospital's float in the parade. As we began walking, the children watching began clapping and calling out to the dogs. There were smiles for miles as we made our along the route! Our pups walked so nicely and not once picked up any candy that was being thrown to all the kids. They even got to visit with a few kids along the way. A great big thank you to those who came out to brave the long wait and the parade! It was great fun for all. I am so proud of our KPETS team - they really shined and showed everyone that KPETS is a great organization.

Halloween at Oak Leaf Manor North
Christine Davidson and Tripper visited with residents during their Halloween party last week. Tipper was an adorable bumblebee, but Christine reports that he would not keep his antenna on. However, he did enjoy licking up some crumbs left behind and a good time was had by all.
